Welcome to Frame by Petros “Your One Stop Frame Shop.” Frame by Petros was established 1987 in Pasadena, California.  It was named after Petros Makhshikyan who is still the current owner.  Living in an art world from a young age, helped him give paintings a more unique and powerful appearance in his frames. In his home town Armenia, Petros Makhshikyan was well known for being unique in his style sculpture. With his knowledge of Armenian and Russian art, he found it easy to study different cultures and different periods if time to give a frame an original and one of a kind look.  Back in the days, objects and people constantly around him greatly inspired his sculptures (carved on stone, marble, and wood). He always designs his frames based on the painting, truly making it a one of a kind frame and a collectible item. The frames bring beauty to the painting, and open people's eyes to a whole new world of art. Today his business is well known for the variety of high quality gold leaf frames that were motivated designs from his excellence in carving. He is able to fulfill any desired requests, and every penny is worth the quality. Our highly motivated employees are trained by Petros himself.  Every employee puts a lot of work, effort, and time to bring perfection to every delicate detail of the frame.
